The latest technology adventure for our class was the WebQuest, a unique tool that enables students to follow a set of tasks to locate information and synthesize their findings. My group used a WebQuest project to promote an awareness of the history, structure, roles, and efficacy of the Federal Reserve System. I plan to use the WebQuest as part of my teaching routine in economics.
Other groups used the WebQuest to have students complete social studies, geography, and math lessons. I enjoyed watching each group present their project to the class, especially the variety of rubrics that were used.
